Increasing Ideas for New Flies
One of the challenges I have tying new flies and patterns is just that, coming up with new ideas for flies and patterns! The tool below is a great way to spark ideas based on several common categories for a new fly.
To use the tool simply select from the several categories, click “Next” make any changes to include ideas or not then click āGenerateā and a list of random characteristics will be displayed that should help you try something new. Feel free to turn on/off different categories to get different kinds of ideas.
I like using āBugā and āBug Life Stageā and then mixing in āMaterialā or āActionā to get a tying session started.
